Natively Convert TiVo to iPad on Mac for a Playback

As a professional digital video recorder, Tivo keeps movies, TV shows in *.tivo format. We can easily transfer such video to Windows and enjoy it with a player which supports mpeg-2. However, it seems not possible to enjoy TiVo videos on Mac or Apple devices, like iPad.

Yesterday, I tried several video converters which I have and found one stable TIVO converter which converted all my recorded files without issue. One month ago, I got this Bigasoft Converter tool to merge my vob movies and download YouTube videos. Now I prefer to play with this tool and find more features.

For people who has TiVO and need to enjoy the videos on Mac, maybe try it which called Bigasoft Total Video Converter. Here is main steps from their guide:

Step 1 Load TiVo Videos to TiVo Video Converter
Click "Add File" button to import the TiVo files to the software. You can also drag and drop TiVo videos to the interface of the software. Then the following window will pop up, after fill the Media Access Key in, your TiVo Videos are loaded successfully.

Step 2 Set the Profile as MP4, MPEG, AVI, WMV, FLV, MOV, MP3 etc.
There are presets for portable media devices, like iPad, iPhone, Samsung phones, tablets, etc
After all settings are done, click the "Convert" button to start converting TiVo videos.

It also helps to merge, trim, or edit tivo videos. More details:
